I have a 7 miler scheduled for tomorrow and I am nervous/excited. The farthest I have ever ran so far is 6.2 miles for that 10k race I did in July. I know 7 miles isn't that much farther, however it will be the farthest I have ran ever, which makes me nervous, but more so excited!!!
For me, it's a rest day today and tomorrow. I'm running a half marathon on Sunday - The Chocolate Half - and am nursing an infected toe. It's just as well that I'm racing because it is forcing me to stay off running for a few days.
Although the weekend is about over, it was a rest weekend for me in regards to running... I had my mom's 50th birthday party we were running around doing things for =o) ready to get the week started again to hit the pavement though!
